How this is worked out
The amount financed is the price less the deposit. The monthly payment is the standard amortisation payment on that amount, adjusted so the final balloon payment is what remains at the end of the term.

Assumptions and limits
- Converts the APR to a monthly rate, so a quote using a flat rate or a different fee treatment will not match exactly.
- Excludes dealer admin fees, the option-to-purchase fee usually payable if you keep the car, and excess mileage or damage charges at the end.
- The final payment is the guaranteed minimum future value from your quote. Handing the car back instead means you never pay it, but you also own nothing.
